Gillian is passionate about passing on skills to kids that are at risk of being lost, preserving our heritage and teaching the love and enjoyment that can be gained from growing and cooking your own food. Through her work in schools across west Cork she has seen the impact that cooking and growing can have on a childs life first hand, and it gives her endless amounts to energy to do more. Gillian believes that introducing kids at a very early age to the world of food, and connecting kids with farmers and growers will enable children to gain a deep appreciation of where their food comes from and inspire them to look at food differently.
