James Henry from Le Doyenné is joining our own Ballymaloe House chefs to present this very special dining experience in Ballymaloe House.
Le Doyenné is a restaurant, guesthouse, and farm set within the historical grounds of the Château de Saint-Vrain, in the village of Saint-Vrain.
Chefs and owners James Henry and Shaun Kelly, along with the Mortemart family, have lovingly restored and converted Le Doyenné into a restaurant farmhouse of their dreams.
In the potager, regenerative agricultural practices that have nurtured the land for generations are being revived to grow heirloom vegetables which form the foundation of our culinary offerings.

Join Thomasina of Wahaca and our own Ballymaloe Chefs for Sunday lunch.
Cook, writer and winner of MasterChef, Thomasina Miers has made cheese in Ireland, cheffed in Michelin-starred kitchens and, having travelled to Mexico in 1994, went to live there to research the cuisine. In 2007, she co-founded Wahaca, a group of restaurants that have been winning awards for its food and sustainability credentials for nearly 18 years. In 2016 the whole restaurant group went carbon neutral. Half of its menu is vegetarian. All of it is delicious!

Ballymaloe Cookery School Workshop
Join Pam and her team from Ballymaloe Cookery School for a cooking workshop. Put on your apron, take out your knives and enjoy this 90 minutes workshop to cook up a Chicken Paillard with Aoili and cherry tomatoes on Grilled Sourdough and fabulous Drop Scones topped of with Raspberry Jam for dessert.
