My name is Carina Roseingrave, and I farm alongside my brother Gerry at Burrenview Farm in County Clare. Our family farm focuses on dairy, suckler cattle, and free-range eggs. My passion as a woman in agriculture is to produce high-quality milk, beef, and eggs, while promoting a strong connection between food and nature. Bringing food from farm to fork is central to everything we do.I take great pride in breeding and exhibiting our Charolais and Limousin pedigree cattle. There is something truly special about showing livestock that you have bred and raised yourself. One of my greatest joys is teaching my two young daughters that they can follow the same path. Seeing them confidently show their young calves in young-handler classes gives me immense pride and hope for the future of our farm and our industry.
I am truly honoured to represent women farmers in my role as Ambassador for 2026, sharing our story and highlighting the dedication, care, and passion that go into producing quality food. I am proud to play my part in promoting Irish agriculture and inspiring the next generation to stay connected to the land. Together, we are stronger. By working with a shared purpose, to bring about change, we can ensure that Irish agriculture continues to thrive for generations to come.
