Bosco is an iconic Irish puppet character, a five-year-old with red hair and a squeaky voice, who lives in a box. The original television series, produced by the Lambert Puppet Theatre, ran from 1979 to 1991 and featured Bosco and human presenters interacting with children and exploring the world via a "magic door".
